You must read these rules and adhere to them when roleplaying in the dream or forum.
- OOC comments need to be kept in brackets when there is a roleplay in progress.
- If the OOC chatter begins to interfere with roleplay, and it is requested that you take it elsewhere, do so. Move away or speak in whispers.
- Chatspeak is not acceptable in posts.
- Posts need to be at least 3-4 sentences. Preferably more.
- If you are not the best speller, type up your post in something that offers spellcheck. Proofread. Excessive errors can be distracting for others.
- No "god" characters allowed. Your character cannot be immortal or ridiculously powerful.
- No autohitting. Your character may attempt to attack another furre, but it is ultimately their choice whether or not your attack is successful.
- Other furres do not have to roleplay with you just because you posted.
- If you do chose to roleplay a fight, it must be fairly realistic. This means a reasonable amount of dodges.
- Your character can and should die if fatally wounded.
- Your personal opinions, friendships, and knowledge absolutely should not interfere with anything that happens in character.
- If a character of yours learns something IC, no other alts of yours have this information unless you roleplay telling them.
- We don't really suggest sitting around roleplaying with yourself.
- Pack leaders are, by nature, slightly more powerful than average.
- Pack hierarchies should be respected both in and out of character.
- We ask that you do not roleplay regularly unless you have a description. The only exception is if you are still developing the character.
- Once you have a character and description, do not change details without IC reason. This means your character cannot suddenly grow an extra pair of eyes, wings, horns, whatever just because you are bored.
- Character revivals are lame. However, we aren't going to stop you if you've come up with some elaborate roleplay that brings your favorite character back to life. This does mean you can't just decide it is alive and keep RPing with it.
- Remember that you do not know someone's name IC until you ask or have been introduced.
- Plots may be worked out before the roleplay begins.
- When joining someone else's roleplay, be aware that there is probably already a plot in place.
